Lately I’m addicted to a Korean Drama, 쾌도 홍길동 / Hong Gil Dong/ 快刀洪吉童。 Thanks to 星空 plays this drama during weekends for 5 hours straight and during week days for 2 hours. Crazy schedule though….

The reason I like this Drama is that the mixture of modern songs and other modern elements inside. At least something new…

and also because I like JANG GEUN SUK… he has beautiful eyes ^O^ Oh… I like pretty boys >,< or 小弟弟(actually same age with me lolx)

To say the truth this is my 2nd Korean Drama after My Girl.. though I know there were other nice drama such as Goong and etc coz previously I was too busy to catch such a long drama. Tiring… >.<

Synopsis:

Hong Gil Dong was the illegitimate son of a high ranked minister. A local monk took him under his wing and taught him martial arts. Hong Gil Dong was inspired to fight for the injustice in this society that divided people into nobles and ordinary citizens whereby the former enjoyed all the privileges due solely to their birth.

The heroine, Heo Yi Nok, had just returned to Korea from China with her grandfather. They made their living by putting on shows and selling their special brand of medicine in the marketplace.

Lee Chang Hwi had been told since he was young that he was the rightful heir to the throne which had been usurped by his half brother. He had also returned from his exile in China and was plotting to overthrow the emperor.

The three got entangled in love, hate, loyalty and betrayal and only one side can win.

Overview:
Overall it’s a good drama. Those who liked Goong most likely will like Hong Gil Dong as well. It has good production values, lush colors, good acting and a great production crew. The very first place we went… to the place he usually goes… Corner shop in Bintan Mall. A small mall consist of not more than 50 shoplot(I think) with billiard center, cyber cafe and KTV.

He tried…

MTV crew huh?? The tees was too large for him… then he tried again…

not bad! ^^ but then we left the boutique… and go to another one…

while waiting for him, I took these… notice something?

Next we went to a bookstore at Bestari Mall(almost the same size as Bintan Mall) to look for a map! ^^ Not for me of course but Pin gonna like it

After searching around at 1st floor and 2nd floor, finally….I found Bintan Map!!!

other than that… Jakarta map! >,< very scary!! *I’m not gonna be Jakarta mapper for sure!*

and the rest are the not-very-detailed world map which is useless for us..

and I spotted these lovely boxes.. I love beautiful boxes, yes I do!

next.. bro brought me to a comic rental shop. Yes I used to read comics. Mangas I mean… Bro knows me the best! ^^

then.. our stomach started to crumble… So we went for dinner.. and it’s my bro’s treat! ^^

and after the dinner and a little chit chat with my bro.. I requested to go somewhere.. to Ramayana Mall. It is bigger than Bintan & Bestari Mall but still small…. and I seldom come here…

you can see a lot of public transport called “transport”(see below) and “Ojek” (Motorcycle with driver as seen above).

and OMG! You see that! hundreds of motorcycles parking here (including us). I turned left…

Those motorcycles are not very clearly shown on above pictures.. There’s more actually and I was wondering if those reach a thousand… (that day was damn crowded because Raya is near…)

and you can find very few shoplots down there… Mostly you can see…

It is a nice place to shop for those who loves all-in-one bookstore… because other than selling books and stationary… they also sell…

And I got something for my own… I rented 30 comics back home to cure my boredom…

I was too boring at home was intended to take some pictures using baby’s DSLR and suddenly I remember my dad’s little collection. Tiny bottles of liquor. I don’t remember where he bought that and when. I only remember that he used to buy these tiny bottles and keep it as collection. I guess he had finished and thrown away or gave away many bottles. >,< How wasted… Anyway… these are the left ones…

Like the title above… I guess everyone loves liquor or at least most of us do. Lately a friend of mine became addicted to liquor. >,< She would sometimes go to some KTV Pub with her close friend to drink. I know it’s fun and you love having fun but again I’m here to remind you again, please don’t drink too much.. >,< too much of liquor kills, my dear!

A chained of stuff to do after my university project. I thought to give myself and baby a little break. A short break during weekend will do but lots of stuff holding us Firstly we had to look for a new place, packing, moving, cleaning for both new house and old house, unpacking, settle bills & agreement, new stuff for new house etc… From moving to settle down, it will took us some time I guess.. And I’m grateful to Marcus & Daniel who had helped us a lot. Really alot..

Secondly, me and baby had been struggling to adapt to a brand new life, the life after University. Obviously, we’re trying to get projects for our living of course. Creating a new icon for our plan and finish the unfinished guide that has been delayed for very long time are supposed to be done soon. But again.. somehow we have to delay these for other stuff. Somehow we’re struggling to survive…

Third, I had to settle all the legal documents back in school and luckily that was not as troublesome as moving house. But the next thing I worried is the legal document for my career… Hopefully it is doable. *praying hard*

After all these things almost settled, finally I could go back my hometown leaving baby struggle alone back there. The mixed feeling between happy and unbearable was what I felt at that moment. I missed home a lot as I have been away for half year. I would gladly go back often but thinking of the long long journey makes me lazy… -_-“ a whole day journey, omG! And I never had something that called unbearable when I go back hometown. I guess I really had a nice moment with you guys. Friends that I know I can cherish compared to those I met back in U. At least much more matured and reasonable!

After the extremely long journey, finally I arrived at my hometown… When the very first thing I walked out of the immigration office, I saw darkness everywhere. What had become to my hometown? Ah I guess blackout again then… No surprise for me as this had happened few times when I came back in the last year. What surprised me was the very quiet road somewhere near a shopping mall (do not expect a big one as those in KL, imagine I can finish do my shopping in half to one hour) and my high school. It is not supposed to be that way! At least not before 9pm. I guessed I’m too used to the life in KL. 24 hours mamak, KTV & cinema until midnight What a life! Is this considered culture shock in my own hometown?? Funny eh… Dad said it’s fasting months, that’s why… -_-“ I hope so… (Even my bro said this is getting worse and now it is like a dead town).

And forget about that… I thought that was not gonna repeat(blackout) BUT BUT!! In the end I found out that it has been a routine!! ZZZ!!! What is this lah!! And EVERYDAY will blackout for AT LEAST 5-6HOURS. Sometimes twice in a day! Doesn’t affect us a lot since we got generator (in day time) BUT BUT I had came across the blackout during midnight for few times! Normally we don’t use generator in the middle of the night as afraid might disturb neighbour. Oh gosh… No aircon, no problem. But not even a fan?!?$!%^*&. Baby… earlier I wanted to bring you home but because you’re too busy, now I tell you that “lucky you didn’t follow me back”.

I guess most of you will be wondering why nobody complain right? I was wondering that too but they said actually some people tried to complain. They went to the PLN Headquarter but then only around 20 people went there. In the end, their effort wasted and the situation not getting any better. In fact, it is getting worse! HELLO!! WHERE IS THE RESTS? !?!! %#^@^;.

I guess the only improvement here is the cable TV… Now we have more channels than before. Previously we had only few channel from our own station (TVRI, TPI, SCTV, Metro TV, Trans TV, TV1, RCTI, Global TV, what else? I dunno), and few channels from Sg (Channel News Asia, Channel 8, Channel 5, U Channel), and lastly few from Msia (8TV, TV3). But now we have Natgeo, Discovery, Animal Planet, Cartoon Network, Cinemax, MTV, Channel V, Star Movie, Astro Super Sports, ESPN, Star Sports,MUTV, TVB, 星空, 1 Hokkien Channel, and 1 channel mostly Cantonese Drama or Movie. Cool right? Supposed to be more than this but because the old TV at my house doesn’t support more than 30 channel. :p

So what do I do these few weeks and the coming week? No more friends here… Most of them working or studying at Sg and Batam while some of them are on the other part of this world… I’m gonna isolate myself in the house I think or visit my grandma once in a while or else watching TV or learn something new. ^^ Psst… I’m trying to build WP theme.

Lastly… I’m still hoping the electric will get better… *praying hard…*
Er… I’ve just realized WHAT A LONG POST! lol.. Sorry guys.. I was in the mood to write.

This year’s birthday was very much different. How different? Well… you imagine that you found someone who had the same birthday as yours and he/she is quite a close friend. Ahh… Must be damn shiok!! yeah damn shiok!! I’ve been searching for that one since I realize my baby Kriz had the same birthday with my close friend JEssey.. How impossible right?? And yeah now I found him!! Its Daniel! Its Daniel!! Though we didn’t born on the same year but at least we can celebrate it together… and together with our beloved friend. Here we go!!

We had a big big feast at Rakuzen Restaurant at KL.

Just like its name, yeah it’s Japanese Restaurant… We had sushi and stuff just as listed below. Sorry forgot the dish name, so just display the pictures..

and yeah finally i realized how tasty is this raw meat….

after finish the meal…. and we ordered again… Tadaaa!!!
