Avril Malaysia Concert POSTPONED??
Avril Lavigne’s concert in Malaysia will be POSTPONED!!! WHY??? BECAUSE the concert date closed to Malaysia’s Independance Day. FUNNY Huh… A great dissapointment to her fans including me.. ~~
However, are they really going to postponed the concert just like that? I hope not..
Keep on banning, keep on losing great entertainers, keep on losing income….
Few days ago, I read an article in newspaper regarding those foreign singer’s concert in Malaysia and the ethic. I thought it was just a hot topic since there were few foreign singer had to cancel their concert due to improper dressing ethic in the past year.
According to the newspaper:
- PUSPAL’S DO AND DON’T FOR FOREIGN SINGER:
- Don’t display improper and indecent behaviour.
- Don’t perform in an obscene manner.
- Don’t do or say things that may touch on religious, racial and cultural sensitivities of the communities in Malaysia.
- Dress appropriately according to the type of performance and congruent with Malaysian culture.
- Don’t join the audiences at any time; performances confined to the stages of the premises.
- Performances that involves the promotion of tobacco products and alcoholic beverages, either directly or indirectly, are not alllowed.
- CITY HALL OF LICENSING SARINGAT ADNAN EXPLAIN:
- No jumping, screaming and throwing items to audiences or vice versa.
(and yeah we’re going to sit tight during the concert.. “My little boys and girls…Be good.. Please sit tight.. the concert is going to begin soon.. No jumping around, Ok!” - No dance moves of using words that have sexual connotations, including kissing audiences or any similar acts.
- Don’t act or say things that are meant to single out any community or religion, which may affect the political stand and stability of the country.
- Don’t perform without clothes or remove clothes, be it shirts of pants.
- Female performers have to cover up from the chest to below the knees. Male artistes have to coveR uo from chest to knees. They have to look neat and clean througout the performance.
- Performance has to be clean and should not have vulgar, dirty or crude stories, lyrics and any language against Malaysian values, law and the Rukun Negara.
- Every show or performance has to adhere to the date and place, as stated in the licence.
- Promoters and licence holders have to give priority to the safety of its audience and general surroundings, at all times.
- No jumping, screaming and throwing items to audiences or vice versa.

And guess what! I’ve got the ticket from my lovely bf. Thanks a lot baby! He and Alex rushed to Sg.Wang this early morning to get the ticket(I was still sleeping :P). They bought 5 tickets at the same time. Alex bought for his younger bro and sis. How sweet…
